BONFIRES AND FIREWORKS

Thought we had a Bonfire topic - certainly we've discussed it previously.

Aaaaanyway, you know how it's always a mystery as to where do all the rocket sticks go - yesterday morning on my patio was a piece of wood about 4ft long, half an inch by half an inch, with scorch-marks along one side. I viewed this hefty piece of lumber with delight - here we have the makings of a brand new scary stick, sez I.
From the size of the thing I would guess it had been lit somewhere around East Sussex.
Gift horses and all that .

Sounds huge, Placi  what if it had hit your window? hmmm ... probably did and rebounded :cry3:

Anyway glad it's going to be useful :D

What I thought, Nuthatch, was what if it had hit a car and set off the alarm !! Someone might have rung 999 for the coppers at midnight.

Quite a few time expended rockets have found their way into the chateau garden but nothing like the dimensions Placi experienced. Are you sure you haven't got the Euro rocket range moved in next door Placi

As I type (RSP in Adelaide - good job), fireworks are going off over <<<<< there. Why, I ask myself .
