Aye ano , finally!!! I hear you say PB ...don't think it's really worth waiting for but here you go......
Went to Aberlady last Sunday with other half...(no ma kinda burding trip) as I prefer to fly solo these days...yep selfish but I care not a jot it's Meeeeeeee time :shrug:



So here's what a seen ...although am sure a would have seen hunners more if a didn't have to fit in a bloody boring castle visit aswell :rolleyes:
Hey I asked at the castle after I paid my £4.50 fee...any wildlife...yeah we have woodpigeon and worms ....wtf!!!! :rofl: so I paid that to sit on a bench and look at my pics :nod:

Eider? eider it is or it isn't . Seriously though I enjoyed that beach visit. :nod: Your sand castle didn't make the cut but maybe next time. :nod:

That's about how busy I like my beaches Linda :) Not seen an Eider dressed in black before :yes:

A great view and photo of a Gannet on the water Linda. I think I have only seen them looking down from a cliff viewpoint or ferry. Nice selection of birds, butterflies and views. I am still missing an eider...

Thanks all.....

Tide was coming in so no sandcastle JS :shrug:

It was amazing walking up the steep sand dunes for the amazing view of the empty beach PB, loads of Eider around

Gannet was just happily bobbin away in the water as I looked over rock edge SM as I tried to get them inflight before I came across thar one
