Holes Bay, Poole 12/01/2026

I'm always amazed by the amount of bird life here, as they main A350 into Poole runs at times as close as 15 yards to the water. Even at it's furthest it's only 30 yards away (although the extra yardage is scrubby trees!)
It was a grey day with a 25% chance of rain, but I took the chance, and was pretty pleased with the results.... I hope you are too :)

Thanks Snappy, I think it was only the Cormorants I didn't crop much.... I was using the 800mm + the 1.4 tc so that made everything a LOT closer lol

Thanks Cin, I would have popped into Upton country park too (they've put a hide up) but there's roadworks on the sliproad, and was too far to walk from Asda's 3 hours free parking lol
Are you home yet?
