First trip out since before Christmas was always going to be a bit of a snap happy affair, and so it turned out. Sorry!
After the early morning happiness of Blackbirds back in the garden when I went to thaw the bird baths (as well as House Sparrows and a Robin) the choice of where to go on a bright, cold (minus 6!) morning weighed slightly on my mind. I decided not to go too far, because a lot of the roads around here avoid modern fads like gritting trucks and the like!
The initial plan was an hour looking for Kingfishers, then an hour at the Trailway for winter thrushes and the like..... just a heads up... I didn't make it to the Trailway!!
I hope you enjoy

Cheers Snappy, on a couple I even had the "yes, nailed it" feeling as I took them lol. There were 4 Goldcrest, a pair of Treecreepers, and 3 possibly 4 Kingies

Well I took just over 1000, and started fiddling with them about 2 ish. Was all done before Mrs PB got home at 5:30. I invested in a new pc in the Cyber Monday sales in November, so instead of 2 minutes to run LR denoise, it's now 10-20 seconds

. Bleedin' typical I've only been out about 3 or 4 times since to utilise it lmao

Thanks Jack, I've struggled to pick a favourite too, one of the kingies in flight I think has to be the one
