So yesterday it was very misty foggy stuff here and I just needed tae get ooot

...sunshine was out edinburgh way so I opted for Musselburgh.....never been before. After several crazy bypasses through edinburgh....nightmare!!!! Finally arrived about 12ish and the sun was shining

....was lots and lots of walking but it was t-shirt weather...OH AND I GOT A NEWBIE....CAN YOU SPOT IT

I should say pics are not te best as most thngs were very far away

Nice to see someone had the blue sky Linda

Shame they were at a distance but you have some good photo's and a newbie makes the day

Aye but a had tae go all the way past Edinburgh tae get it
Always makes the journey worthwhile for a newbie SM. I should have picked up 3 newbies at the Haugh this morning BUT misty foggy weather spoiled that.
Pintail eclipse, golden plover and scaup apparently!

The bird in question was this one
And it's a Marsh Sandpiper
I almost said pheasant, coz I don't remember you posting one lol. Marsh Sandpiper, not one I've knowingly seen.... on the big screen the plover was a ruff
