Good one to chalk up Ed.

At last they have arrived. The Red-veined Darter. I love my pond area. I could spend hours next to it photographing wildlife using it.

Oh that is very nice Ed, am thinking am gonna have to get a pond extension as never any damsels of dragons ...just the birds slashing around

Make it too big you will have cormorants....

That's a bright red Ed, nice photo.

It was an absolute stunner SM. The sun was in the right place and it stayed still long enough to get a shot at a lowish shutter speed. Actually found two of them around the pond.

You cannot have a big enough pond Linda.

That's an absolute belter Ed, not seen one for a few years I don't think.

Cracking photo. I don't think I've ever seen one.
