I didn't see them but I swear I heard Sturklets today.

I believe that.

At about 4pm today after a solid six hours of heavy rain a Blackbird turned up on my front lawn looking absolutely immaculate. My other avian visitors were looking decidedly soggy so where had he been to remain so well presented?

In a densely foliated tree or hedge ??

In your garage, Jacksparrow ??

Under someone's verandah ... flitting to all the other dry places in turn

I heard `em on Monday. today I saw them........aaaaaaaaaaaaaarrrrgh! Sturklets

Just my Sparrows ,and sturks I am lookin hard for Blackbirds but nothing yet .

As the old saying says "be careful what you wish for". I've have had a constant stream of them today. I have had to refill the bird baths half a dozen times while food has been disappearing like snow in August.I wish they had a volume control
