Hi Jacksparrow, I reckon they were passing through. Have never seen them before on my walks. They were by a newly planted corn field, so may have dropped in for a feed.

Don't think I ever saw a wheatear so that was very interesting.

They are more likely to be seen in areas at or near the sea. We inland folk are denied the pleasure unless we're very lucky
