Yes Nuthatch. A lady comes into the car park every morning and puts down food.

I've got a really raggedy Mr Blackbird coming into the garden collecting food - some of his feathers are lightened in places too

I have a pair of Blackbirds building a nest in the garden at present. I say pair but to be honest Mr B's input has been negligible

. It is in a bush where I don't recall any other birds have bothered with and in not a particularly quiet place as a busy footpath is just a couple of feet away on the other side of my wall.

I've not seen any baby blackies yet, but the males are starting to look a bit rough.
Both sexes are stuffing their mouths to take food away.

I was afraid you were going to ask that

My MUM (GRHS) said it was a kind of flowering raspberry. All I know is that it has pink flowers in the spring and I have to hack it back in the autumn to stop it taking over. If I can do so without upsetting Mrs.B I'll try and photograph the leaves so you can make your own mind up.

This a picture of the nest site. The keen eyed among you will spot the strands of grasses coming away from the nest.
