Light rain just about all morning. A better afternoon with a few short spells of sunshine. High of 11c.

It's just started snowing here in Motherwell

Not a bad day here with plenty of sunshine after a cold start. High of 7c.

Three snowflakes at breakfast time. I dashed to find the snow shovel and dust off the snow boots. A carrot was obtained for the traditional snowman and I rushed my weetabix and dashed outside to commence construction.
The snow had ceased and the sun came out.
What now?

Had a few of the white flakes during the night. But the worse was that the rain had frozen and it was quite icy outside. Lots of sunshine during the daylight hours and a high of 7c.

Quite a hard frost first thing this morning. Turned out to be quite a sunny day with a high of 8c.

Rain all morning and part of the afternoon. High of 13c.

Cloud and sunshine sums the day up here. Little bit of rain but not much. High of 12c.

Some quite heavy showers in the morning. Better afternoon with some good spells of sunshine. High of 11c.
