Good butterfly weather in my garden today. I counted seven different species but none of them were posing for photos.

Nice one Jack... They're awkward like that! Had our first peacock yesterday

A Gatekeeper added to the numbers today plus a Peacock and a Red Admiral who both found their way into my lounge at the same time. My old pond net managed to guide them out again.

So many butterflies on our morning walk - Gatekeepers galore that were far too busy to settle for a photo but I did manage a beautifully fresh Small Tort and a Wall that was willing to pose for a moment
