Bit of a stretch, but the hedgehog managed to get a cat biscuit.

I have been putting out some dried mealworms for the last few nights. The have been none left in the morning so my visitor(s) have been having their fill.

Gradually winding down on the food here. But they are still getting through quite a bit. Door feeder seems to be the busiest.

When do you suggest we stop putting food out Willpar? I see a sharp frost is forecast for Monday morning will that bring down the curtain on their nightly foraging?

Hi Jacksparrow, my rule of thumb is once I have food uneaten for a few days or more, then I switch to just dry mealworms or kitten biscuits. But door feeder I will have food in there through the winter. They have been known to come out for a top up during the winter months.

Weighed one of my juveniles this evening, came in at 580gr. Happy with that. Don't think it will hibernate yet, so should put on some more weight for when it decides to.
