Nice spot SM not sure I have seen them on the Rowan tree before eating the berries

Thanks Linda That was the only bird I saw in the tree, it went through quite a few berries. I mostly see blackbirds in them or if I am lucky a fieldfare later in the year.

Thanks Charles, our more common name for the mountain ash is rowan tree.

Now that is perfectly timed SM...I could watch gannets all day, such a stunning bird

Thanks Linda First time I have seen any on the water, normally just see them flying from cliffs. I would like to be close up when they dive in...
