Well, you're ahead of my on a butterfly count, Will! I think I've only seen 3 so far 😬

2 days of sunny conditions in a row have just blown you out of the water William... at least 9 Brimstones driving home today, plus a couple of dark butterflies, playing chicken with my windscreen which could've been either Red Admiral or Peacocks :D (plus 5 buzzards, a kestrel and a stoat that crossed the road at a gallop!)

There was a medium sized white butterfly in my garden today. It must have been an Orange Tip but a positive ID was impossible. Yesterday a Holly Blue whizzed past my head and disappeared into some holly. :)

Well done Snappy... My brimstones were all flying as I drove by, so no hope of pics lol

Fab stuff Jack, I'm hoping for a bit of variety and photo opportunities tomorrow 🤞

Well, the forecast was correct, and it was a belter of a day. However, 2 Peacocks and one Brimstone were the sum total of butterflies. And only one Peacock landed in a suitable (ish) place for a snap! Luckily the birds made up for it :)
