It's quite likely is the same one. I'm wondering why it's making an appearance as they are usually very secretive at this time of year.

Got even closer to the cock pheasant, over at the micro copse this morning. In fact I got that close it pecked my hand. Not hard but was a bit surprised. What`s the saying, don't peck the hand that feeds you.

A jay today - actually feeding in the garden

.
All was quiet. I hadn't long put the second breakfast out; looked out and there was a jay all alone really tucking in to the mixed food. Watched it for about 2 minutes. That's a record I think
