A wren - very lively and a beautiful chestnut colour

Yesterday: wren again . Presumably the same one but I have no proof of that.

It's quite likely is the same one. I'm wondering why it's making an appearance as they are usually very secretive at this time of year.

That's what I thought, Jacksparrow, but this one is very lively - bouncing around with no attempt at hiding . Bonus

Got even closer to the cock pheasant, over at the micro copse this morning. In fact I got that close it pecked my hand. Not hard but was a bit surprised. What`s the saying, don't peck the hand that feeds you.

The message is clear. "Don't come around these parts without bringing any food for me"

A jay today - actually feeding in the garden .
All was quiet. I hadn't long put the second breakfast out; looked out and there was a jay all alone really tucking in to the mixed food. Watched it for about 2 minutes. That's a record I think
