Narcissus Bulb Fly - Merodon Equestris. They are currently harvesting Daffodil bulbs in the field next to the house. Maybe that is why we have a few on the Aster flowers.

First one I have spotted this year in the garden. Seems to love the Lavender.
A Gatekeeper. Edit: A Meadow brown. One day I will get to grips with ID.

6 different types of butterfly in the garden today. One of my favourites, the Red Admiral. Not seen my all time favourite yet.
