Here is September's video. Highlights include, a fly pretending to be something else. And a high wire bird which is a first for me.

Thanks Willpar. Another delightful mix. My own particular favourite was the cock pheasant who thinks he's a kangaroo.
PS I think the stripey fly was one of the larger species of Hoverfly.

Thank you Js. I did look up the fly and seems it is a hornet hoverfly. Yes, I laughed at the pheasant with the way it was running. But did like the kestrel on the power cable. First time in getting a video of one of those.

October was a good month for fungi, hundreds of them. A mammal staying dead still. A high wire act with a very long tail. All revealed in Wild Westcountry October.

Thank you JS. was spoilt with the fungi, have never seen so much of it. Did wonder why the squirrel never moved. They usually do.

A lot of November was wet and windy. But did manage to get eight minutes worth. Plenty of fungi still at the time of filming. Colourful bird in the hawthorn, a berry eater on the pyracantha. A large bird that was not fazed in being filmed.

December was a challenge to say the least, with only a few days of good weather. So on Boxing day I took a walk down to the lake. Taking clips along the way. So the walk comes first in the video and the clips I got before that comes last.
