I though my bird ID was reasonable but I can't decide what the bird is with the white rump. Any help would be appreciated.

A fieldfare Jack, it would be more grey than white. I have yet to find one this autumn... as SM already said its fieldfare . There was easy over a 100 today ...och they will head south once the berries and worms are done

Well today's flooding was pretty bad on the scrapes but it was a beautiful start to the day ....baltic with blue sky and a poor wee snipe balancing on reeds in the flood, he is in the 3rd pic if you can spot him

Hmm, blue sky with a fieldfare... A pair of goosanders, I have only seen them on Loch Lomond this year.
