First thing :) : bluey flew into a nestbox :clap: :rara: :banana: !!! Yaaaaay, Day Made.

Probably just roosting for now but maybe a nest site in 2 months time :).

last year new box and a camera never saw anything look at it they seem to like old boxes but still little luck with nesting , :wave2:

I hope none of the Blue Tits are feeding young yet as I think the caterpillar season has yet to start in earnest.

Had around four blue tits in the small plot this morning, taking advantage of the suet pellets. I have put up a covered hanging feeder there yesterday. A blue tit was investigating, but never went on it. Has nice suet and sunflower bits and peanut bits, also some seeds. Hopefully birds will take full advantage of the offerings.
