My blackbirds have disappeared for the summer moult. I put out sultanas but they remain uneaten.

Am still getting mine, though i think less visits.

I saw a blackbird today. The first for several weeks.

Great to see. My cameras are still picking them up in the garden. Mainly early in the morning.

The blackbirds are properly back now. There was 5 in the back garden at 8 o'clock this morning.

That is a lot of blackbirds.

Had three blackbirds in the garden this morning.

Apart from one day when I had five at the same time my normal is two. One male, one female.

I have a late crop of pyracantha berries; the blackbirds are loving them.

The Blackbirds are now finishing up the grapes on my vine. The warm weather produced a good crop this year. There was some late flowering and those are just coming ripe now.
