So I'm now at my holiday home for my holidays :D
There's a swifty/swallowy/house martiny nest down in the boiler room. There's lots of them (I shall check out what they are when I find my binoculars tomorrow) swooping around and to see them just drop down 2 floors and into a doorway is impressive.
There are lots of pied wagtails about and they come quite close.
There's a big lavender bush with about 40 bees permanently on there.
I've been told there's a water vole in the big pond.
I'm sure I've identified 2 lots of hedgehog poo :D
And I was getting annoyed with the buzzard calling and keeping me awake for a good hour.
I shall endeavour to take some pics over the next 2 weeks.

My guess is Swallows as they like to nest indoors given the chance hence their full name of Barn Swallows. Martins like to be under the eaves and deffo not Swifts.

I see you are saving them in Gif format Peregrine. You may want to try saving in jpeg.
