Last nights humdinger passed over quite quickly. The wind reached 60mph according to the local news. Had passed over by midnight and the roads looked quite dry when I looked out. Sunny at the moment, but could have showers.

Stayed sunny for a good part of the day. Though I did get caught in a shower while out for a walk. Wind got up again.

Had rain pretty much all morning here. By mid afternoon it had passed and the sun came out. In fact it is a lovely evening here.

Weatherperson said in a mildly reproving tone, "Not quite as warm as it should be for this time of year"
