Thank you jacksparrow. The LTTs were in my garden this morning. Again another stonechat to finish off with, on my way home from a walk.

Deeply impressed by the shaggy inkcap fungus in tiptop shape, and the fact that the soil around you must be neutrally balanced pH as shown by the pink/blue hydrangea. Good for veggies !! Well, good for almost everything actually.
The water's still in spate - a little hydro-electric scheme there wouldn't come amiss .

Thank you Placi. The hydrangea, was almost as big as a football, certainly caught my eye.

I'm wondering if there is ever a time when you haven't got any wild flowers to video?
A large bachelor Pheasant party, I wonder where the hens were?

Hi Jacksparrow, There were a lot of pheasants, but they scattered when I came in to view. Always seem to be wild flowers around this time of year, mainly of the same species. Hedges here must have their own micro climate. Thanks for looking.

Very festive, Willpar . Between your female holly (mine's male ) and Jacksparrow's mistletoe we're all set for Christmas .
I checked the info about pheasant flocks and apparently they do 'form loose flocks'. I've never seen one and your spot is very intriguing.
The fungus at 3:55 is, I think, called 'Hen in the Woods'. I know this because something like that was on Masterchef Professional the other evening so it must be edible.

Hi Placi, thanks for looking. The holly was in a farmers field, quite a big tree. Do have holly in the hedges here but must be male, and get cut every year. Could have put in some ivy for good measure. But I like the red and green of holly, quite festive. The fungus you mentioned was on the side of the road. The other with the small ones were in a hole in the hedge. Has collapsed since though.
