That wagtail looks a bit perplexed :)

Arrived with a vengeance in Oxford. Took me 90 minutes to get the 6 miles home from work tonight!

Had icy rain overnight, was like a skating rink first thing. Gale blowing. At the moment is very fine rain. Had to salt my path. Got some rock salt from over the bin. Made it over the field to feed the birds.

Most of the snow has gone from the roads here. In fact it felt quite balmy out this morning. Having light rain at the moment.

Have read all the latest snow/ice/wind posts. Much the same here but nothing like the December loads and loads.
Thursday night, I think it was, was terribly cold just as the weatherman said it would be. Coldest for 10-ish years. Thermometer was registering 8 degrees of frost. Stayed in :( and nursed my laryngitis, so that was fun.

Frequent showers to begin with, then a nice sunny period. Rain again in the afternoon.

Rapid melt overnight. Birds back to normal, panic over :).
