It snowed a bit first thing.
37F ( 2.7C ) now with thin high cloud so it's quite bright

Snowed this afternoon. Looked rather determined for an hour or so but the temp. had surged upwardly to 36F so it didn't lie.
Birds hungry, often and comprehensively .

Ground was hard with frost first thing. Had some sunshine for a good part of the morning. Clouded over and had a little sleet.

27F first thing. Ground frost looked like snow !!
At least the sun's out now and it's 32F.

Another really hard frost this morning, ground like concrete. But once the sun came up had wall to wall sunshine all morning and most of the afternoon.

No frost and now it's roasting hot at 40F

Cloudy all morning, been drizzling since about midday, breezy.
45F ( 7.2C ) now

No frost here this morning, in fact it has turned milder. Light drizzle for a good part of the day.

At 8.30 the snow began , big clumpy wet flakes, and as it was 38F there was no cause for panic-stricken raiding of the emergency supplies.
Lovely sunshine now , so that's all right then.
