Seen it on the breakfast programme this morning and very interesting. Could have been a bit longer though.

Do you soak your mealies before putting them out ?? They look quite dry ?

Hi Placi, I rarely soak the mealworms. I do on occasions when the birds are feeding young. But not for hedgehogs. They seem to get on fine with them dry. Leave plenty of water out.
Just went out with some fresh water, opened the gate by front door and there was a hedgehog the other side of it. Good job I had seen it.

I've stopped the live mealworms malarky, too much bother now, I'm afraid. Sad, but there you go .......
I soak the birds' breakfast overnight and have been thinking that it's about time I was putting out the hedgies' grub again. Not soaking them sounds fine to me and if Willpar does that then it's good enough for me.
Right then, where's the Crufts bowl
