I've been having regular hog visitors.
I put some seeds and worms in the feeding house and it's more often gone than not, with a nice big thank you left.
I have to keep moving the house around. Luckily, it's not got a floor.

Not seen any here yet. Hedgehogs may not hibernate if there is a plentiful supply of food. They can put up with a certain amount of cold also.

Hedgie still coming. New calling cards last night and the night before. It is bitter here in Manchester today. Nasty cold wind and bits of rain - quite horrid, but not deterring the new non hibernating hedgie!! Glad to hear Joomoo has one too!! Makes me all the more determined to be on time with the food though!!! On a superlate tonight, so food must be out by 17.00 hrs before I go to work.

I'm wondering if there's 2 different ones in my garden.
I mentioned they like pooing in the shelter. The night before last there was one big poo in one corner, last night there were 3 smaller ones in the other corner.
The poo looks healthy, nice cigar-shaped ones rather than gloopy ones which indicates lung worm.

My hedgie is still around. I have pictures of it!!! It is gotten into the habit of waiting for me to feed it if it arrives early and there is nothing much to eat!!!
I got home on Friday evening to find it sitting on the table waiting for food!!!!
On the second picture you can see the floor is all marked where it has had a poo from time to time and I have cleaned up. Mainly it is is solid and normal but it has been a bit loose on a couple of occasions. I hope it doesn't mean it has lung worm as Joomoo suggests. It looks healthy generally. It is a pretty big hedgie - you can't see it in it's entirety as it is hiding under the ivy.
We have just had a really cold spell of weather here. It has been close to freezing and below for around a week or so and it has been out at night every night!!! My 2 sons made 2 snowmen last weekend and they are not melted yet!!!
