The weather and more to the point the forecasters are currently a sore point with la Madame de le Chateau Sparreau. The forecasters were sure that Saturday(today) would be a bit iffy with a chance of showers and a chilly breeze whereas Sunday would be the dry day with lighter winds. On this basis Sunday was selected for us to load up the car and go to a boot sale for a selling spree(hopefully). We arose today to a high cloud ceiling and not threatening clouds and a mild wind which would have been perfect for the intended sale had we not postponed it in favour off tomorrow. Tonights forecast for tomorrow(remember this was going to be the driest day of the weekend) confidently predicted showers of rain for the period we would be selling. Mrs JS is not given to bad language even having to put up with me but an odd expletive was heard tonight.

Misty rain first thing this morning. Did dry out though, and had a few sunny periods.

Heavy drizzle this affie but not enuf to matter.

It rained briefly at 11:34 which was lucky for the forecasters as up until then it looked as though they'd been overly pessimistic once again.
