At long last we have some tiny, grudging precipitation. More like a faint Scotch mist really but the blackbirds are worming all over the lawns. Can't believe their luck. Just at the right time.

(I switched the lounge rad off last night and it's cold today 'cos of the dampness - bad move

Proper, real rain all afternoon and still light drizzle now. Heaven for parental blackies

who have been taking full advantage. Temp. reached 67F though so that wasn't bad.
