Not had any butterflies in my garden yet, that I know of. All I have seen are on my walks.

Holly Blues were very much in evidence today but I did spot one Orange Tip

Nice one butterfly. Must say when I go out for my walks, am seeing quite a few painted ladies around. There was one this morning flitting about my hedge.

Quite a few butterflies today (unusual lately I must say). These sightings include - a sbf, a lbf, 2 lwfs and another. My identification skills are improving by the day

I had two unusual butterfly visitors today. A pair of Marbled Whites. There is a site about 2 miles from the chateau where they are common so they probably came to see me on an excursion.

Am seeing plenty of those jacksparrow. But they wont stay still for a video at the moment.
I was looking at my butterfly book today, and it said that monarchs can be found along the south west and south coast. Probably have to have the right kind of winds to bring them across.

It let me get so close, I think it was posing for a picture
