I put some chicken skin out with the foxes in mind and within 11 seconds a Kite swooped in and grabbed some.

I haven't put any scraps out for weeks so it's not as if the Kite was expecting it. I've had a Kite perching in the tree overlooking the garden and calling incessantly for the last few weeks so it might have been him. Either way it just goes to show how alert they are.

Nicely caught Nick. We have them flying over ours a lot and quite low, not seen one come down though.

I had another young bird in my garage this afternoon. A young sparrow this time but just as reluctant to leave. I leapt straight to plan B and successfully evicted it before any damage was caused to either the bird or my property.

Most probably. The prime suspect would be Gladys from next door. Here she is a couple of years ago on the prowl - watch till the end.
