Very nice Nick, great to see the juvenile starlings are about. Lovely view of the thrush, not had one in the garden for years.

Very entertaining. A much appreciated facility. I don't know how you keep the water so clean as my bathers quickly turn any bath into a muddy puddle.

Even a small pond like this needs regular maintenance although I've only completely cleaned it out a couple of times in the 15 years or so I've had it. I do run a UV light incorporated into the pump & filter which really helps keep the water clear. It's home to a dozen or so Sticklebacks plus the one remaining Silver Rudd that's managed to evade the Heron!

The birds love it though.
