Yes they love it. It seems the water flow allows the birds to have a good wash but are still able to stand on solid ground so don't need to immerse themselves in standing water.

Another advantage, for me at least, is that the water flow itself doesn't constantly set off the camera trap, as the sensor works on a combination of movement and heat detection.

What I think is a Wood Warbler and Juvenile Spotted Flycatcher.

You get lots of variety at your water feature Nick

I am no expert but I think it looks more like chiffchaff ( happily to be proved wrong!!) but the spotted flycatcher is just fab

I'm certainly no expert but my brother thinks it's a WW based on its call. He could be wrong though!

Sounds very much like Chiffchaff contact call in that clip, going by the ones I get in my garden but I have never seen a Wood warbler...Where's an expert when you need one 😱

I'm with Linda on this - I was trying to remember what S taught us about CC vs WW (willow not wood) - CC dark legs, shorter primaries and single syllable tweet contact call. WW pale legs, longer primaries due due migratory needs - double syllable contact call. I'm not seeing enough yellow to make me think Wood but it's a long time since I've seen one
