Last month I collected fresh hay and moss that the council cut up the fields. Put it into the two hibernation lodges I have. Just had a look and the lodge that is inside the stone wall has a hedgehog inside it. Don't know if it is one of the juveniles or not. Will be nice if it spends the winter in it.

Just been out with the first of the hedgehog food. Went to put some in the cork bark tunnel and felt prickles. Probably one of the juveniles, bit early I thought unless it has been there all day.

I am still getting frequent Hog visits though I never see it/them. I do get CCs as proof but it is no substitute for the real thing. :)

Just been out with the first hedgehog food for the night. And there was a medium size one on the steps by the garden gate. Don't know if it was going up or coming down, but I put it in the garden.

Well I've increased the amount of food I'm putting out at the moment.
Because it's still dark when I get up I can see that they are finishing it off every night.

Funny how sometimes things happen. Was putting out the last of the food tonight on the small plot, happen to turn around and there was a juvenile running across the road towards me. Came to a standstill so I picked it up and put it on the garden. Good timing though.
