Lovely and sunny here today. Bit of a bite in the wind though.

Thank you greenfinch2. I think you may be needing yours before myself though. But it is a timely warning. I shall also be getting the snow shovel to a more handy location.

First frost last night. No panic though - temp. had risen to 44F by 8 am

Colder this morning, in fact there was ice in some shallow puddles over the fields. But quite a pleasant day, with lots of sunshine.

No frost yet but Bonfire Night II is well underway.

I had to scrape the frost of my windscreen this morning for the first time this winter.
Looking on the brightside the cold north easterly wind is perfect for bringing the Waxwings over from Scandinavia. My Rowan berries are on standby.
