I took my Tax Disc out and replaced it with a Remembrance Poppy.I cannot bring myself to sling the disc even though it's not required.

This evening just before 6pm. Knock knock.....front door. Go and answer, grown up woman and small child, breaks into jingle bells.The woman playing a guitar and singling along with the youngster. A new take on xmas carols?

What did you DO, Willpar ?? What did you DO ?? How did you solve the seasonal dilemma ??

I just put some change in the hat placi and they went.

Garage and convenient store got broken into last night. That is twice in three weeks. Probably the same people as they used the same tactics as the time before.

Given twice in three weeks, maybe the garage/store is waiting ... waiting ... waiting for the insurance co. to cough up in order that it can upgrade its security. Be a long wait.
Expect more break-ins ....... and then the premiums will be prohibitive.

I thought it was only me who's got attached to the tax disc! Mine expires February and with the help of Photoshop, I've forged one for the next 12 months

Nothing illegal, just a visual reminder of the next expiry date.
