The Woodies gut juices must be very strong to stand small green cherries. I would get my car covered as it might end up pebble-dashed green

About half an hour ago (and getting dark outside), I went out the front to say goodbye to my visitor and spotted a woodpigeon hunkered down on the edge of my roof. I've just looked and he's still there now and it's gone dark. Very strange.

There were two of them having a bit of a flutter in a tree in the park this morning.

I had not seen a Woodie in my garden for 6 weeks until today when 3 turned up.

I have a couple of smallish Cotoneasters growing in my front garden which have produced their best crop of berries ever this year. This hasn't gone unnoticed by my returning Woodies who I spotted tucking into them with some vigour this morning.

My woodies are making inroads into my Rowan berry crop at present. They have the tree to themselves except for on Blackbird. The Sturks usually have a good go but this year they have missed the bus.
