I think "Common" is a relative term. compared to other species of Redpoll it is common. I used to get them in my garden during the winter but haven't seen on for several years. :shake:

Lovely photo Snappy. We don't really get many in the local valley. Well they fly overhead but are usually on there way somewhere else.

Lovely against the blue sky, Snappy. We had that yesterday for a bit, so of course I was working. Today it's back to pishing down :rolleyes:

Thanks Bob. I don't have to travel too far to find one. It seems any decent sized puddle has one these days... :)

Thanks Linda :) It is... Now at 63 species and I have use 43 different species here this year. A few are too bad to use until I can get a better photo :laugh:
