Thanks William. I don't see them much but normally a small flock, this one was on it's own.

I think "Common" is a relative term. compared to other species of Redpoll it is common. I used to get them in my garden during the winter but haven't seen on for several years.

Lovely photo Snappy. We don't really get many in the local valley. Well they fly overhead but are usually on there way somewhere else.

Lovely against the blue sky, Snappy. We had that yesterday for a bit, so of course I was working. Today it's back to pishing down

Thanks Linda It is... Now at 63 species and I have use 43 different species here this year. A few are too bad to use until I can get a better photo
