Think you could be right JS. Have only had one crash into a window, and that was a wood pigeon. Sadly, it was instant death.

My nest box has been up years now and for the first time today I have seen a little blue tit checking it out. Hopefully looking for a new nesting site.

Too late for nesting but could be checking it out for a winter roost.

A female Chaffinch. They were, one upon a time, frequent visitors but now, sadly, a rare sight.

Have never seen one in my garden.

The females are easy to miss as they look similar to a female sparrow if you look quickly.

I had a pair of Blackcaps in the garden this morning. A male and a female. I do see one from time to time during the winter months but that is the first time I have seen a pair.

Good spot JS. have not seen them here for a few years now. Used to get them.

I had a GSW on my SFH feeder today. The first I've seen in a long time.

Good bird to have. Never seen one here.
