No, Jacksparrow - they're from the aforementioned nest in the hedge. It's been easier to spot who's who as the chick has grown and is now looking around a bit :bird2:

The chick fledged yesterday - was by the hedge being fed and then going back into the hedge but not to the nest. I didn't see any of this. Will try to get a pic.

Now OH is saying he's not entirely sure that there were two chicks as he looked in the nest for only a split second.

Some other pics I took on Monday of the parents - not sure about the last one though :unsure: :laugh:

The chick was on a disused sunlounger at 10.10 today. The lounger is in a corner just to the right of the nest hedge:-

A sparrow came to the food on the grass near the nest hedge, Mr. Blackbird got in a tizz and pecked it on the back :eek:
