WHAT I SAW TODAY.....

I went to the beach yesterday with the neighbours dog ,and counted 70 Eider Duck,one wagtail,and loads of seagulls.

Just been watching 2 Pied Wagtails on the lawn. We tend to see one perhaps a couple of times a year. Let's hope this is a pair and they'll nest somewhere near .

Yesterday went across for a we walk and the eider were gone ,but I got better a Stonechat and some Pipets,Greenshanks,and loads of Oystercatchers.

Just failed to photograph the first Long Tailed Tit on the new feeder ! Why can't they wait for me to get the camera
Later on, there was a family of 5 in the hedge nearby, but they kept clear of the feeder.
Early days! I'll have them yet .
