Excellent work getting him to hover between the flower heads so they added a nice bit of framing colour around him Ed Lovely shot

What a surprise!!! A first for me. Managed to snap a Hummingbird Hawk-moth in the garden today. Boy are they fast and skittish. Only stayed in the garden for about a minute. I do hope it comes back again and brings some friends.

Your encounter was very much in keeping with the norm. My normal encounter is not having a camera to make use of and while I dash to get one it's .............
