I nearly lost the top of my head like that yesterday but fortunately Spencer the Spider has miscalculated the tension required on the web and I broke through unscathed.

I'd go there and buy a can of coke just to congratulate them on a thoughtful notice - and an apostrophe in the correct place

I went into a hostelry this very lunchtime and at the table opposite a gentleman and lady of senior years played with their mobile phones all the time we were in the pub and never exchanged a word. I always supposed it was the younger set who were wed to their communications devices but apparently not.
