Great Spotted Woodpeckers are back. Had two males the other day. Female is also coming to the feeders. Female does look cleaner and tidier than the males.

Very good peregrine, never had one come to my feeders even though i am near the woods.

A female GSW on the sunflower seed feeder which was the first time I seen one there.

I have only ever seen Stock Doves at a distance. I would be delighted to get one in the garden.

For the second time this year I had a visit from a Song Thrush

. I had put some small pieces of leftover turkey on the bird table which it was enjoying until a Blackbird decided enough was enough and chased it off.

A couple of ltt`s very briefly, as some starlings came in and frightened them off.
