The Perseids are supposed to be about over the next few nights too.
I am in the middle of Sherwood Forest at the moment, so if the cloud clears, I'll great a great view.
We were watching the Space Station going over a few nights ago.

Never had the rain here that was forecast, what a swiz, nor the wind for that matter. Looks like it was more north than predicted.

Pond overflowing but the sun is juuuuuust beginning to peep through. 60F, cold and clammy, smells fresh though !!

The clouds have cleared so I've just nipped out to take some photos of the SuperMoon

.
Very strange 'cos faintly, far far away, I could hear the haunting strains of Creedence Clearwater Revival.

Torrential rain early Sunday morning and all day. Lawn bowling competition Sunday that they didn't cancel so had to play. Fortunately the rain only goes as far as the skin.
