'T'was 58F at 8.30 this morn. Crazy.
Too warm to wear my new Christmas Rudolph jumper with a lighty-up nose and revolving eyes. Shame to lose the opportunity 'cos it'll look silly in July.

Still very dark here just now. Heavy

and very

. Looks like Frank is beginning to say HELLOOOOOOOOOOOO. River Nith expected to flood the Whitesands, a mile and a half upstream, in the town from where I am. Doesn't look promising.

Many areas affected by Storm Frank. Wind still strong but rain has stopped at the moment. One of the wife's nieces stay up in Ballater. She works of the Council (not sure as what) and she is also a Retained Fireman (Fireperson or what ever). She has been involved since about 9am this morning helping evacuate people.

A grey grisly January day. It didn't rain all day(quite) but it may as well have done.
The forecast for Greenfinch in eastern Scotland is dire for the next few days so I wish her all the best.
