Springwatch is back on May 27th

Springwatch used to be essential viewing for me. I will be watching from time to time but some of the presenters have become a little boring and the constant little lectures about climate change are starting to tire me. I'm not a denyer but the people who are contributing to the climate change are not sat in front of the telly watching Springwatch.

They seem intent on ramming it down our throats at every opportunity.

I'll record it and skip through the bits I'm not so interested in. Really largely watch it for the remote camera stuff which is fascinating.

Not bad so far. Seems to be a bit less 'silliness' and the cameras seem reasonable this year. A lot of amazing images and sad stories but such is the circle of life.

Must confess, forgot it was on and have not watched any live broadcast. Did watch the first one on iplayer though.

Winterwatch is back on Tuesday, 21 January at 8 PM on BBC Two and iPlayer

Read in today's paper that Michaela Strachan is doing both "Dancing on Ice" and Winter Watch. I hope she does well at the skating and doesn't have much time for WW.

Now there's a thought.
