This year I have decided to look for the small life in and around my garden. Managed to get this photo of a Western Honey Bee in flight today.

Good work Ed. I have tried to photograph insects on the wing so any successful shot gets my applause.

First Speckled Wood butterfly I have had in the garden. Well chuffed! Looking forward to more butterflies in general turning up.

A great cry of "Nooooooooooo" when I looked at the back of the camera and found this Holly Blue butterfly flying away from the camera. With over 200 shots to get this one nearly in focus it should have been flying towards me. Frustrated r us.

I think either the butterfly was a stunt pilot or the photo is upside down.
