Good visitor to have butterfly. I have had them come in, but not for a few winters now.

Snap Butterfly I had one as well first in years,busy feeders just now lots of finches all healthy ,sparrows ,and sturks. :wave2:

That's really fab greenfinch2 :clap: , such a lovely bird :) . I haven't seen it again since that day, I really hope it wasn't just passing by and comes back for some food again . I haven't seen any sparrows since summer either, which is bothering me :( , hoping to see them too.
My little wren seem to be establishing herself here though, which is just fab! She was very active on the feeders today :clap: , as well as all the usual suspects :wave2:

Had my visitor today had breakfast then went I have never seen a female one,busy with goldfinches today along with greenfinch ,plenty of sparrows
my sturk numbers are well down .

Blackcap came for a bite to eat today again :rara: , but its been very quiet overall on the feeders, not even pigeons bothered :shrug:

I counted 11 song thrushes in the tree outside my house :eek: :clap: So lovely to see them there :D

They may have been Redwings. Song Thrushes are not gregarious.

I saw one of my Sparrows inspecting the Sparrow Terrace. I thought this was the quiet period in avian house hunting. :shrug:

Spotted a flash of white in the largest pyrawotsit this morning. I thought it might be an unusual visitor but couldn't tell what type. Got a little excited that it might be a ptarmigan or an osprey :wow: until it obligingly flew down onto the grass.
It was a sparrow with a piece of bread in its beak :( :rolleyes:.
