Hedgehog central here last night. Three outside the front door wanting a feed. Did notice that two of them had red paint on them. Looked random so I don't know if anyone painted them. One of them had a little on its head, so may have gone under something painted. I did take a look around the back of the houses, but nothing red there. unless they came from farther afield.

Have not yet placi. Am trying to figure out something that will show under the night cam but not really visible in normal light. Don't really want to use white anymore. Am thinking nail polish at the moment, but just a few spines.

Presumably a dab of nail varnish in a strategically placed spot so that you'll be able to see it ? A bokkle of nail varnish won't go very far ......
